DAN makes it easy for you to find answers to your personal diving medical questions. However, the complexities surrounding most medical issues demand specific attention. Therefore, the information presented here should always be used in conjunction with advice from your personal diving physician.

If you believe that you might have signs or symptoms of decompression illness, please call DAN's Emergency Hotline IMMEDIATELY on 0800 020 111 or +27 82 810 6010 . This hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and will connect you directly tp one of the diving medical doctors-on-call.
