Beto Vambiane
Beto is from Tofo and started diving in 2018. He completed the career development program at Peri-Peri divers in Tofo, Mozambique and qualified as a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor in 2020.
“ We live close to the ocean and I wanted to do something to take care of the ocean. Scuba diving provided me that opportunity.”
He recently joined the dive team at Bazaruto Centre for Scientific Studies (BCSS) on Beguerra Island, Mozambique. The opportunity to learn new things such a marine research and also gain valuable experience is key to keep the team motivated.
I am excited to be a DAN DFA instructor, we learned a lot about our own bodies and how to take care of an injured person. Knowing this is important as we are having more visitor and it is comforting to know that I will be able to help them in any situation.”
